Feature Requests

A spreadsheet widget for smartdoc that has the ability to pull data out of other fields and is addressable by a formula in fields would be sooooo amazing. I really need to do basic math inside of a smartdoc! Estimating costs requires lots of little calculations and others need to be able to see the history of this. It makes no senses to type this as dumb date into a smart doc to capture this history when we should be able to do the calculation there. .... please!

There are so many entries for smart doc improvements it may be time to consolidate them and or give us a road map just for where and when smart doc is heading.

Really wish I could simply highlight and hit Ctrl-K to create hyperlinks in Smartdocs.

Minor request, but in the interest of saving an extra click for a frequent task :) In SmartDocs - I would love to create formatted links by typing a text label, highlighting that text, then pasting the link. Here's an example of how it works in Slack, and other tools like Coda do the same.

File attach Icon should be there in display. Though that its available thru / command, but it helps to have it in display especially in Forms.

Notions highest ranked feature is the simplicity of the page builder. Starting with a blank page and a curser you can build and dream. SmartSuite's SmartDocs have the key components of this builder and the backbone of SmartSuite's infrastructure is unmatched. It would be incredible if the dashboards were effectively a blank page with the flashing curser prompt similar to notion allowing the user to build right within the SmartDoc. Lastly, there is something about rich icons that help keep the builder from being BLOCKY and RIGID. Ok, that's all for now. Thank you SmartSuite!!!

Ability to place anywhere on the Whiteboard an Icon with more Details and once click on that to open a window with extra text. I am trying to not add lots of text on the visible side of the whiteboard. Whimsical App can to this.

Hi SmartSuite Team, It would be nice to update the linked record mention that you can access by using the "#" symbol. Could we Remove the # symbol from the front of the mentioned record Allow for the linked text to respect the text formatting. For example if the linked recorded is mentioned in a H1 heading it should get formatted just like all the other H1 text.

I would like to create a smart doc field that links to specific information located within the same record. This feature would greatly enhance our ability to reference and utilize data more efficiently within a single record.

Right now, it appears as though I can only link to records in a SmartDoc that come from the same solution in which the SmartDoc lives. I'd love to be able to tag records that live in other solutions as well. This is particularly problematic if, like me, you have a "Notes & Resources" solution and a "Projects & Tasks" solution and you aren't able to include tasks/projects on meeting agendas.
