Feature Requests

I finished a project in Airtable last month and now I want to start shutting down access to the data. I've kicked out all of the users who had direct (login) access to that base. But there were also a couple dozen shared (pseudo-private) LINKS to views, the kind of read-only views that don't require a login. And of course I wanted to take those off the 'net as well. Airtable has a nice feature where you can see, in one place, a list of all the views in the base that have been shared like this. Apparently SmartSuite does not. It should.

Add the option to add comments to records in the shared view. Add a tick box in the shared view settings to toggle comments on/off. This would help me with client work as a freelance web designer. Some clients aren't experienced with project management tools. Giving them the authority to modify records could result in a mishap. But shared views are too limited. So, if people were to comment, that gives them the ability to add requests to a project without interfering with the system. I know this would be ideally done with guest access. Would be great if we could have the ability to share a grid view for just 7 days for example

I would love a way to add context to what we share. I'm sending this to a client. I want to make it more personable by adding my own title and description, maybe even a custom image. From a perspective of an affiliate, I'd like for SmartSuite links to add my affiliate code. All my clients will begin with a SmartSuite account. I would like credit for bringing them onboard.

It would be great to have permissions beyond the "view only / read only" option that we have now when a solution or view is shared. We use this a LOT with clients in Jotform and Airtable and it would be a gamechanger to have. Permissions such as: Commentor: Can leave a comment but cannot edit records Editor / Collaborator: Can edit records and leave a comment, but cannot configure tables or fields See the attached examples for inspiration from airtable and jotform on the different ways this could be done!

When sharing a View via text, there is not an option to add context about that text. Is there a way to make it more personal and readable to the recipient? Below is what a current text lookes like to the recipient. Personal metadata for texts could make a big first impression.

Sometimes we want to share a view but only allow access to certain people, instead of anyone who has the link. This is essential when sharing views that contain confidential information. I would be great if there was an option to grant access to specific people when sharing a view, or to allow people to request access and review access requests. It would be ok if the person the view was to be shared with has to make a SmartSuite account to gain access.

Could viewers be allowed to upload files in shared table views or dashboards? This would enhance collaboration by letting users with viewer permissions contribute files directly.

Rather than having to go into each view, each table, each view, it would be nice to have the ability to manage this in one place as well as disable sharing views per workspace, solution, table, and view.

Ability to Share Folder of multiple Views. Would a great addition for when the Share Dashboards, Share Map views would be also possible
