I’m hoping to be able to create Proposals, Statements of Work, and Status Update documents directly from SmartSuite applications like Projects, Tasks, etc. using the “Document Designer” feature. I realize “Document Designer” is a relatively new feature so wanted to offer a few ideas. My apologies if some of these already exist:
  1. Make it easy to mix static text with field values
  2. Offer option to export document to Microsoft Word or Google Docs
  3. Add option to insert page breaks
  4. Provide option to generate document at the record level
  5. Make it possible to pull in fields from linked app records multiple levels down (For instance, assume App A is linked to App B which is linked to App C. In a doc generated from an App A record, it would be nice to have option to pull in fields from App C)
