Using AI to answer questions within specific solutions content

We are currently using Notion to collect information that we want to access using AI for writing as well as for searching SOPs etc. it answers based on specific databases or pages within our Notion account. If SmartSuite could do this, I would readily move from Notion to SmartSuite for our company. I would hate to lose that functionality.

Hi Jon Darbyshire, For SOPs the useful part is being able to get specific questions answered even if you aren't sure where the SOP is. The Notion QA function allows you to ask a question such as, "how do I get my vacation approved?" and it will provide an answer as well as a link to the source. SmartSuite has a very robust search, and that is excellent, but I love how Notion AI and use all or some of the information in my whole Notion account. I also love it for the ability to collect information such as things I have brought in from ReadWise, and it is accessible to me for writing blog posts, or even just trying to remember a concept that I have forgotten. I also use Notion to help me when I am writing storyboards for training. I can bring in content in the form of PDFs or Word docs etc, and the AI can draw on that information for its response as well as showing me the sources of where it drew the answers from. This is incredible for writing materials based on our customers content. So the use case is, I create a database in Notion and each record is a document that I bring into Notion from my client. I then ask the AI tool to provide answers to prompts such as "Please write the 10 most important concepts that are mentioned about topic X" and use the 'Find in' toggle to direct it to the database I created for the client documents. The answers draw from these documents and I find it very powerful. I find SmartSuite incredibly useful, and would love to have a one stop shop to run our business, but for now I will need to keep our Notion account going, although I am likely to still move to SmartSuite for other business processes.
