This really needs to be implemented - I'd argue that current time tracking is borderline useless.
You can't use "last updated" as an accurate way of reporting time since you can't drill into specific entries (which could be using different dates and durations) under the total amount available in the time tracking log.
Unless you restructure your solutions in a specific way it's also impractical under the current setup.
Rollup fields don't work either.
It should be added to the new home page (and take a note from how Clickup does it). It's been requested enough for several years now and would likely be a deal-breaker for a lot of potential new customers - also removing the need for separate apps.
It was mentioned in the last webinar all the required "parts" for this are there on the backend.

Brian Dollen Lots of votes on this one from 2022. Anywhere I can follow product roadmap for time logs?

Chaya Gutnick - How did you end up building out time tracking for your solution?

Is this going to be implemented anytime soon?

this would be an incredibly useful feature for us. Multiple staff assigned to a task - need to identify how much of the task was completed by each person

Time Tracking and detailed logging are necessary for us. We need to be able to review and manage time logs by users, time periods, status etc much as described above.

Should add that the commercial case for SmartSuite is made even easier if clients no longer have to use 3rd party time-tracking apps and can do everything from within SmartSuite. Having access to the Time log data would make a big difference. Being able to track time across periods would be ideal. Having a time-tracking view would be the icing on the cake.

We have recently tried to build a time logging app using the Time Log field. However, we cannot accomplish any of our requirements because the Time Log user, date, & time logged data is not available in formulas. This essentially makes Time Logging of little use beyond a rollup. In other words, time logging is most useful if we can access all the data captured (user, date, time. note) .
