SmartSuite’s Power Search is helpful for finding a word anywhere, but it does not provide faceted tag searching. Because it searches broadly across many fields, users cannot limit a search specifically to deliberate tag assignments or progressively narrow results by combining related tags.

Please consider adding a global faceted tag-search system across SmartSuite.

A user could select “Vitamin B12” and immediately see only matching records, along with the remaining tags that co-occur with those results and their record counts. The user could then select “Supplements” and “Carnivore Diet” to progressively narrow the results using AND logic.

Ideally, this would work across tables and solutions, support tag families and synonyms, and help prevent duplicate tag variations.

This would complement—not duplicate—Power Search and make SmartSuite substantially more useful for personal knowledge management, research libraries, and other large collections of interconnected information.
