It would be really nice if we can allow SmartDocs to exist on their own without having to be part of a record. Maybe a grid or table view type of just docs. This would be something like ClickUp doc center, Notion, or Coda.

Love this idea. Being able to attach SmartDocs to Solutions, Tables, Views etc would be nice to provide some context to the item to which it is attached.

I should also add, the really important for me is to be able to export a SmartDoc to external document. I would love to be able to document everything about the project inside SmartSuite. But when it comes to necessity to share the information with the customer or vendor, I can't use all the work I have done in SmartDoc to send it outside. This forces me to do all documenting in the external document from beginning, because you never know when you are going to need to share it. Yes, I can export or share the entire record, but that is not what I need. I don't want to share everything, just a document. Would be great to be able to share a SmartDoc to Word and PDF at least. And also, if SmartDoc contains a table, that would be even better to be able to export just that table to Excel/GoogleSheet (not the entire SmartDoc).

Add a view type of SmartDoc that would allow users to create documents that can be accessed as Views. This would also us to add more detailed getting started information at the App level and would also provide similar capabilities to Notion that we like.

This would be excellent. So far the only hurdle that's keeping me from moving over to smartsuite (maybe throw in the "/" shortcut to add headings and bullets while you're at it wink wink)

Docs that can be indexed by search engines is pretty important for me and pretty common in other apps. I want to share docs as a complement to my websites.

Is it possible to add the ability to access a file manager view of SmartDocs from wherever you are in SmartSuite? Or to be able to set permissions of which SmartDocs one can access at a Workspace level, Solution level and App level? Thanks
