A hosted MCP server lets any MCP-compatible assistant, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, IDEs and agent frameworks, connect to a SmartSuite workspace with a single URL and an OAuth sign-in, with nothing to install. The assistant acts strictly as the signed-in user: it can only see and change what that person could, the user chooses read-only or read-write access and which workspaces are covered, and every change is recorded in the activity log under both the person and the assistant. Workspace data is presented in terms a model can reason about, with readable field labels, choice labels, linked record titles and SmartDocs as markdown.

Really glad to see this in progress! We use SmartSuite as the backbone of our academy operations and we are building AI-powered student support workflows in Make.
An official hosted MCP server with OAuth would be a major help, allowing us to connect Make AI Agents without maintaining additional server infrastructure. Please prioritize compatibility with Make’s MCP client and clear setup documentation.
Could you share an estimated availability window or any plans for early access? Even a tentative timeline would help us plan our implementation and decide where to invest our development time. Thank you for moving this forward!
