Signature Setup in SmartSuite My Profile Settings
As a
SmartSuite user, I want
to set up my signature within the My Profile Settings, so that
I don't have to create fields in every solution/application to capture the same information.Details:
- Request:Allow users to create and manage signatures directly in the My Profile Settings.
- Feature:Ability to create and store multiple signatures.
- Use Case:When creating email templates users can select which signature to use based on the assigned user (the full signature or the reply signature). Referring
- Example:Similar functionality to Microsoft Outlook, where users can choose different signatures depending on the context.
It would also be cool to be able to reference the signatures fields as:
Signature Fields:
- Sender’s Full Signature
- Sender’s Reply Signature
- Assigned To Full Signature
- Assigned To Reply Signature
- These references could function similarly to how "Current User" is referenced in email automations.

Please give us the option of including a designed email signature in our emails from the communication centre! We would love to be emailing clients from the record for their project, but to keep consistent we need to be able to use our email signatures.

- Could you provide more details on the specific elements you would like to include in your email signature?
- Are there any specific formats (JPEG, PNG, etc.) you prefer for the image in the email signature?
- Do you have any specific requirements for the size or resolution of the image in the email signature?

Hi Jon Darbyshire ! Thanks for your reply! Here is what I'm thinking:
- We would just be looking for the ability to either set an email signature for each team member in our workspace, or be able to include in the email template a signature as an image.
- I think both JPEG and PNG would be beneficial.
- Just because they can come in different shapes and sizes, the largest I would go is 600 px wide by 300 px high. 😀

Workaround:
Create Smartdoc field, create your signature there and save as default for all records.
Then include this field at the bottom of every email body in automations. cheers!

Alex Stoica This would have been a great workaround if smartdoc fields were an option to use in email templates. Maybe I didn't do something correctly, have you been able to get this to work?
