Add Ctr F and make box always visible
Gavin Smith
The Find box is very useful, but it is hidden and requires us to click on it. It would be great if the shortcut Ctr F would open the find box.
It would also be great if the find box was always visible. In the lease if a search was active.
Google sheets is a good example where Ctr F opens a search box within the sheets, rather than the browser search.

I like having Ctr F for searching browser but agree, atm, searching in SS could be improved. :) We definitely need a hot key for Find.

Hello Gavin Smith! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you use the Find box feature in your workflow?
- Would you prefer the Find box to be visible at all times or only when a search is active?
- Are there any specific features from other applications' search functionalities that you find particularly useful?
Gavin Smith
Jon Darbyshire Thanks for your prompt response.
1) I use the find box all the time. Probably a few dozen times a day. My colleagues tell me they also use it as much.
2) I'd prefer it visible at all times. But, if visible when active it would be an improvement.
3) I find the shortcut CTR F very useful in google sheets. There is not much else I can think off at the moment.

Speed up Find and add hotkey

Problem:
The Find tool takes time to click on and is much slower than the find tool accessed using ctrl/cmd f in e.g. Google Sheets. A lot of work is finding the correct item in a table so these delays add up.
Solution:
Speed up the find tool and add a hotkey to access it

Hello YES Integrations! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how much faster you would like the Find tool to be?
- What specific hotkey would you suggest for accessing the Find tool?
- Can you describe a typical use case where the current speed of the Find tool slows down your work?

- Similar performance to ctrl+f on a web page in a browser or a tool like Google sheets would be ideal
- ctrl+f would be ideal, with Power Search available via ctrl+shift+f
- Identifying rows in a large table corresponding to the from address of incoming emails can take a few seconds for each search. When having a large number of emails to work through this results in a significant slowdown
