There is a powerful feature called "log entries" that quickbase has for their notes field. Basically, there is a checkbox to turn on "log the edits on this field and show them in the field"

It is a super userful way to capture ongoing updates in a simple text field.

Within QuickBase there are options to:

"Show the name and date on the same line as the entry"

"Show the name and date on their own line"

"Show new entries at the bottom of the field"

"Show the time in addition to the date"

"Show full names instead of user names"
