Option for (un)resolved / (un)assigned comments

Comments which are not assigned should not be unresolved - we use these 95% of the time for informational comments (with no assignment) but these show up as "Unresolved" and in the Open Comments field in the Grid view it shows the unresolved count.
Would love an option checkbox on the Open Comments field to count only Assigned Unresolved Comments!

Open Comments field- show number of threads

Problem:
Currently the open comments field counts the number of comments and the number of replies on a record.
That can be misleading - we use a comment to log an open issue on a record. Replies to that comment address the same issue.
Because e.g. a record with one open comment and three replies appears the same as a record with four open comments and no replies, we can't tell the difference between a record with a single open issue that is being addressed and a record with multiple issues that are not being addressed.
Solution:
It would be great to have an option to change the display of the Open Comments field so it displays the number of unresolved threads instead of the total number of comments and replies.
A new icon for this new display would be good to be able so we can tell the difference between the two types of Open Comments fields. The ability to have both types displayed at once in a view might be desireable.

Hello YES Integrations! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you envision the new icon for the Open Comments field?
- Would you prefer the unresolved threads count to replace the current comments count, or would you like both to be displayed simultaneously?
- Can you elaborate on how you currently use the Open Comments field and how the proposed change would improve your workflow?

Informational comments that do not directly address an issue that needs to be “resolved” are a key part of how our consultancy tracks progress in a project.
The distinction between assigned and unassigned comments has also been noted as slightly confusing, especially in cases where you assign a comment to yourself.
It seems like this change would fix both of these issues and prevent us from returning to a text based list of signed and dated comments associated with each project.

Hi,
When sending emails using the email templates in the communication center, the red notification appears and stays, even after reading or commenting on the email.
Since this red notification is quite alarming, it would be great if this notification could turn transparent or only show up for unread emails or unsolved comments.
