move field to another app

I created a few fields inside one app that would make more sense in another one (within the same solution) - it would be great if I could just move it over instead of having to delete it and recreate in the other app

Sometimes when rearranging apps we want to move fields in one app to another app. There is currently no way to do this except manual set up the field again.

Like the ability to move Apps between Solutions, it would be a real effort saver to be able to move fields between apps, or copy and paste fields.

I agree. Think of a Select field with multiple selections. If later one realizes it should locate in another solution or app, currently it takes a lot of manual work to replicate elsewhere. A simple copy and paste field would add speed and flexibility to the Solution designs.
