Mark all comments resolved when a record is marked complete

Hiya Sara Skowronski, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more context on how often you encounter records with unresolved comments when marking them as complete?
- Are there specific types of comments that you believe should be automatically resolved when a record is marked complete?
- Would you find it useful to have a confirmation step before all comments are marked as resolved, or should this process be automatic?

Hi Jon Darbyshire!
We currently use Ply to add emails about a record (usually a task, but sometimes another function like new hire or termination) to the comment section. This makes it easier than having to hop back and forth to our email chains.
When we are closing out the record, there can be anywhere from 1 to 20+ comments based on the task. Since they are not closed out, they still show up in my "My Work" area and I have to manually go in and close them.
I think all comments should be resolved, but if there is a way to add some type of filter in the comments section and be able to decide based on that it might be helpful.
And YES, a confirmation would be good. It would provide an opportunity to scan through the comments to ensure nothing was missed and then be able to close them all with one click rather than having to manually close each one.
