Make "+ New Task" button optional in My Work

The "+ New Task" button is way too prominent and intuitive to have no control over how inputs here get treated. In my team, we need to see what everyone is working on. In lieu of providing the option to make tasks created in My Work attached to a solution, at least make it optional that this "+ New Task" button is even visible. Our team includes multiple entry-level, hourly roles that operate on mobile devices only. We have no visibility on tasks getting created and completed here. Though contrary to training, folks understandably create tasks from "My Work"... tasks nobody else on the team ever sees.

- How often do tasks created in 'My Work' need to be visible to the entire team?
- What specific visibility or notification features would help your team manage tasks better?
- Are there any specific roles or permissions that should control the visibility of the '+ New Task' button?

Jon Darbyshire Thanks for the prompt reply! Here goes:
- At this time in our org, 100% of the time. Eventually less often, however, currently as a new operation looking to create multiple instances of our team structure, seeing absolutely everything getting done is very useful.
- Treat these like any other record in a given solution would be ideal. Even being able to set a team-wide setting would work great for us... something like, "all '+ New Task' submissions get dumped into 'ABC' solution with the creator as the 'Assigned to'". The ability to manage that task like any other record in a solution would work best, but literally any visibility or notification would help our team manage tasks better.
- IMHO, Account Administrators should be able to see any of these tasks. Solution Creators, if able to adjust a setting that pushes a '+ New Task' to a given solution, should be able to see them. Maybe a pop-up or warning when creating a "+ New Task" from "My Work" when that record is about to become visible to a whole team. Maybe the task creator can opt in for General Access or Guest visibility?
...all this said, simply being able to turn off the button would be great! We are working on a series of linked forms (both via native SmartSuite and Fillout) to drive task creation for the team. The hurdle right now is keeping folks from creating siloed tasks from "My Work".
