Solution permissions don't always match those needed at the table and field level. Some tables need the specific ability to lock the ability to create new records to avoid disrupting automations or linked records that may be in place, while still being able to access and edit field data. Something as simple as a toggle to lock new record creation at the table level could circumvent what otherwise is an overly complex and unreliable method to accomplish this today - which involves a concoction of permissions, assignees (field type) and automations
