Image Resolution In Document Designer

Every time I create a PDF from document designer that contains an image, it downsamples the image and it becomes blurry. The image is not blurry and is high resolution when it is attached to the image field. This makes the document designer unusable in some cases.

I’ve tried to use DD to get pdf of signed contracts but signature display even at smaller than actual size is so pixelated it can’t be used. The same signature image used in Documint displays perfectly.

Hiya Amanda Peers, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:

Can you provide an example of the image that you are trying to include in the PDF?
Are you experiencing this issue with all images or just specific ones?
Have you noticed if the image quality decreases proportionally to the size of the image on the document?

All images
I'm not sure, but probably as it looks like it's downsampling to 72dpi from the original 300dpi.
