Grid view; record count box color; no color
Jon Darbyshire
Hey greg rawls, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you please specify which parts of the interface you find the colors to be overwhelming?
- Could you provide more details on how you would like the 0 counts links to be displayed?
- Are there any specific colors or color schemes that you find easier to read or more pleasing to the eye?

Jon Darbyshire Thank you Jon for your engagement and questions.
1) Did you have the opportunity to look at my crude MS Paint drawing of what I was pitching?
I REALLY like the count field of SS. Instead of having a large field with all the links to linked records, I love the Count field that tells me how many linked records are associated with the current record. I can click on the number to see the detail of linked records.
2) In my paint drawing, I depicted a zero linked record count as blank...nothing. If this is not possible, may just a "-" to show null records. As you see in my app there are a lot of summed linked record counts (most are zeros). It would be nice to cut down the noise where I can quickly access which records have linked records.
3) The current choose of count colors are harsh primary colors. It would be great if the colors were less vibrant? Muted, pastel, translucent?
ACTUALLY ...... just noticed Status and Single Select have more muted color options... can this be replicated for the Count Field?
Maybe an easy fix is to add a white color as a choice on the color palette....And/Or..... add a 0% muted color option for each of the colors on the color palette. See attached drawing.
Having white or 0% color status minimizes the visual presence of unimportant records .
