In a big-picture timeline with shorter events, label names are truncated or completely invisible. This makes the timeline minimally useful to me, and I really need it. I'd love to see a settings option where the item title can be toggled to either overflow out of the event, or lives outside of the event altogether like on the gantt chart.

Hi Jon,
I haven't built out a ton of timelines yet because I'm still looking for the functionality I need, but I encounter shorter events all the time. I also zoom in and out between large-scale and small-scale views frequently, which shortens mid-length events and makes the title unreadable. "Projects and tasks" is an example where I've encountered this.
I'm starting to work with gantt charts, which I will probably use (I'd still like for timelines to be useable for me though). It looks like those titles appear before the timeline event, which works. It would also be nice to see the title available directly in the event so they take up less room on the timeline, but they just overflow out the end of the event if the event becomes too small to contain it.
