Expanded Time Log Tracking

We are looking for expanded functionality for Time Log Tracking.
- Rolling up Time tracking for all tasks on a project (Total time logged to a project)
- Logging more than 250 characters (Add attachments and info)
- Comments are contextual but having a dedicated "task/time entry" (which we have built in our own database at the moment) would allow us to track time, billable time, and PM time better.
- Rolling up Time Tracking in dashboards

Jon Darbyshire here's an example of what we created (this is Fillout) where we basically want to enter time, a description (just like your formatted text field allows (images, etc because then the files and attachments field wouldn't be necessary).
Then having a singular solution or space where all time tracking logs are so that we can report on them etc -> this would make time tracking epic.

It would also be nice to have the ability to have time logs in automations so that we can trigger events when time is logged, when it = or exceeds a value in another field etc.

- Could you provide more details on how you envision the 'Rolling up Time Tracking' feature in dashboards?
- What specific information would you like to add as attachments in the Time Log Tracking?
- Could you elaborate on the 'task/time entry' feature you've built in your own database? How does it improve your tracking of time, billable time, and PM time?

- We have a project database connected to tasks and in the tasks database is the time tracking log as well as a time estimate field (number field) We’d like to be able to use a roll up field in the project to database and roll up actual hours vs the estimated hours to determine whether our estimates were accurate or whether we are losing money etc.
- I think it would be nice to add text similar to the description box in any other task as well as uploading screen shots or short videos of proof of work so that if a client says “xyz is not working” we can go back to a time entry and view what was submitted and signed off on
- We built a third database that basically allows us to add anything we want into a time entry vs just the 250 characters etc. and we also link it back to tasks and projects so that we can see time tracker per task and per project and link back to it from anywhere in the linked databases. This lets us also report hours on individuals by project and/or task to see if we need to either adjust estimates or adjust personnel on projects
