Enable Inline Edit WITHOUT New Record

Why is the "New Record" button automatically displayed when we enable "Inline Editing"?? Just because we want to allow users to edit records in a grid view doesn't mean we want them to be able to create a new record. Please make the Allow Create New Record feature a toggle to specifically enable.

Agree with this but we also need the ability to be able to disable inline editing whilst still allowing creation of new records. Both of these actions should be separate options so we have flexibility to choose the functions available in different views
