Enable checklists in Document Designer

I love the Document Designer, however, for me it's missing one key feature. The ability to embed checklists. Is this in your feature roadmap and, if so, is there a likely indication as to time. For our needs it's a no-brainer for managing and disseminating meeting notes to external parties with action items.

Hello Simon Kewell! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide some examples of the types of checklists you would like to embed in the Document Designer?
- How would you like to interact with these checklists within the Document Designer?
- What is the primary purpose of these checklists in your meeting notes?

thanks for getting back to me so promptly Jon. From the outset, I want to say that I've tried a few platforms and have settled on Smartsuite because I can see that you just make it easy!
From our perspective, we are a B2B business and deal with different entities on task/project related matters (as part of our onboarding process) which have a finite period. Internally, we are setting the agendas and driving the meetings with the respective entities. Most entities we deal with operate within the Teams environment and do not want to plug into another solution (some entities are also larger and we have issues around data with their IT people anyhow!) We sit within the Microsoft environment also but frankly it is REALLY lacking in what you guys offer. They're experts at making the simple complex and requiring consultants to build your solutions! :-)
I love how Smartsuite makes it easy to create and track meetings by being able to create agendas and take minutes of meetings as well as creating action items (checklist) all within a single record which is great. Our issue is that we manage them internally and simply want to be able to disseminate them as a PDF's (displaying limited fields) for our client meetings. Not being able to display the checklist action items in the Document Designer is the only thing that stops us from managing this process seamlessly and feels incomplete. In reality, I could understand you needing to analyse this re embedding related fields (assignee and due date) but all we need is the actual action list item displayed.
As someone who is also in the business of designing scalable tech platforms, the beauty is you just don't know how creative your users can be to maximise the value of your platform! :-)
