USE CASE:

I would like to confirm receipt of the ticket from the email alias (not my main address) using an automation. Then if I or my teammate pick up the ticket that person can continue the conversation in the communication center using their email address, OR opt to continue to use the alias.

Yeah, I miss this as well. The new PDF generation function through an automation is great, and I consider moving from Airtbale to Smartsuite now. But I do miss this function, since I am managing two different brands through my Gmail account, and therefore have 2 aliases that need to send emails through automations.

Yes including the ability to choose alias in the communication center. For a lot of web apps, when you connect your gmail, it automatically gives you the option of sending from any aliases you have setup in gmail.
