Document Designer lookup field option to hide column name
Jon Darbyshire
Great to hear your perspective, Marcello Scacchetti! I have a few more questions for you:
- What is the primary reason for wanting to hide the column name in the lookup field?
- Are there specific scenarios or use cases where hiding the column name is particularly important?
- Would you like the option to toggle the visibility of the column name on and off, or should it be permanently hidden?

Jon Darbyshire for example in the scenario attached, company details are coming from a linked record, I want to display them as a block, in this specific situation is a price quote. For the company name I can use "single" as display and that is going to work. For the company address, I use another field in designer from the same linked record and select just the address column for display, this time if I select single nothing is going to show because I'm assuming single is fixed to the record "title", if I select list will display the "dot", if I select table it will show the column header. The work around I'm using now is to create lookup fields for each information I need to show from the linked record in the block or anywhere in the designer where I don't need or want column headers. A simple toggle probably would do the trick. Thanks!
