The data schema utility is very helpful in a getting a birdseye view. it would be amaing to be able to easily delete fields right from there (much faster and eaiser) - almost liek havinga little x on hover

Can you provide more details on the types of fields you often find yourself needing to delete?
Are there any specific scenarios where this feature would be particularly useful?
Would you like to have a confirmation prompt before deleting a field or prefer an instant delete?

Jon Darbyshire 1. all types. 2. yes, when building or upgrading a solution- i will often add many lookups and formula fields to manipulate data and then deleting the legacy ones becomes a very cumbersome process. 3. no confirmation will be better.
