Date field type "Changes" condition

I just started a new job where I am a member of a team rolling out SmartSuite to our organization. We have hundreds of projects running and to have the "Change" if any option for Dates is needed to trigger sending of an email to the team actively following the project via the bell notification.

Would be awesome to be able to trigger actions only if a date changes! Very important feature! ;)

Add "changes in" conditions in "when a record matches a condition" trigger

in "when a record matches a condition" trigger only some fields type support the "changes" condition (like the Assigned person changes from any to any). This is a limitation in the automations that can be made.
For example I wanted to do an automation that triggers only when some fields change (status, assigend person, due date ecc) and then sends a webhook request to make.com. But I can't do that because due date or asisged person don't have the "changes from any to any" condition for some reason.

Any update on this one? I have a start date field and need to be able to trigger an email and notify people when this changes

Thank you for posting, Patrizia Buosi! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific fields would you like to have the 'changes from any to any' condition available for?
- Can you describe a specific use case where this feature would be beneficial?
- Are there any other conditions or triggers you think would enhance the automation process?

When a Record is Updated: Allow "Changes" for all field types

I would like to be able to create an automation that would trigger based on any specific field changing.
An example use case would be when I don't want to create tasks for a project until a due date is decided. In this case I currently use "When a record matches a condition where [Due Date] is not empty, Create tasks XYZ". This automation causes new tasks to be created every time the record is updated instead of being able to use the condition "where [Due Date] changes from empty to not empty" which would only ever trigger once.
