A fantastic feature now able to have Data Labels for our bar charts - but the font is extremely tiny - should be able to choose the font size and also the color eg: white font on darker colors background

Yes I thought it was just me that couldn’t read the data labels!

Fully agree, data labels is a fantastic addition but need to be able to increase font size and change colour to make it readable

Jon Darbyshire, Google Sheets charts are the best example for how this might work where once you select the data labels checkbox you get a series of options to format the labels. Even more important to me for my financial charts is the ability to format the data labels with currency formatting. This is also one of Google Sheets charting options for the data labels which is really needed in SmartSuite.

Hiya Esther craft, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific font sizes would you find most useful for the data labels?
- Are there any specific color options you would like to have for the data labels?
- Would you like the ability to set different font sizes for different types of charts or data labels?

Jon Darbyshire hi - just like William suggested - how Google sheets gives us options to modify - or 1st phase can be fixed S M L XL XXL , BOLD Bigger FONT. Cause now the font is incredibly tiny
Colors White - against dark background and BLACK against light background or any of the colors options availiable already in SS
Also if we can have a TOTAL Data Labels for Stacked Chart Columns - to be ontop the Stacked Charts would be awesome. As now the data labels shows in individual Stacked columns - and we have to do mental maths to calculate the TOTAL

Change Text Size on Pie Charts

Amanda Bullock
Please add an option on PIe Charts to change the text size at the bottom that explains what each color is. Even when I resize the widget, only the pie chart gets bigger, but the text size stay the same. It's so tiny it's basically unreadable.
Jon Darbyshire
Hello Amanda Bullock! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about where you would like the text size option to be located within the interface?
- Are there any specific text sizes you would like to be available for selection?
- Do you experience this issue on a specific device or does it occur across all devices?

Hi Jon!
1) When editing the pie widget I would like a tab to edit the "Appearance" like other widgets have. Right now there is only "General" additional appearance features in the future could then be added under this tab (such as reassigning colors as you'd like to each section of the pie chart)
2) Either Font Size or at least a S, M, L selection. I think Font size would allow for more customization, but I'm not sure how that would work with the small color bubbles next to each description
3) I currently don't have the mobile app installed to provide insight there, but it is all PC devices. Even when I go into the editing part of the pie chart the text remains unreadable.

Change chart text size or color or be able to bold

It is very difficult to read data on the dashboard.
Jon Darbyshire
Great to hear your perspective, Bryce Claudin! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you specify which elements on the dashboard are particularly hard to read?
- Is the issue with the text size, color, or both?
- Are there specific colors or sizes that you would find easier to read?

Legends on Plots

It would be great to be able to modify the legends on a plot - like making the text larger or moving it from the side to the bottom.
