Now that we have automation actions that allow appending checklist items, it would be very nice to be able to sort these items by things like Title, Due Date, Assignee, and Completion.

Brian Dollen we are already prepared here :) We've been playing with this in the past and applied some of our new components (related to filtering) that our users are soon going to see in Linked Records and Sub-Items as well.
The approach is easy, we will have a new filter icon appearing on hover of the field ,in the top right. Clicking on this icon will bring the filtering options.
We need couple more discussions to figure out the exact filtering options and after that we'll be able to roll out this little nice feature in our of our upcoming releases.

We agree that this will be useful and our UI team is beginning the process of determining the best UI approach for this. IF anyone has examples of how other products you are using allow this, please share with ,us. Thxthem
