Automation Trigger SmartDoc Field

We need more granular conditions on a SmartDoc field to use it in an automation trigger. Actually it is only possible to check if it is empty or not. We can only trigger on an record update with smartdoc field empty or not, but we want to trigger on a change of this field (content added, deleted or changed).

- Can you describe a typical use case where the change in the SmartDoc field would trigger an automation?
- Are there any specific types of content changes in the SmartDoc field that are more important for triggering an automation?

we want to implement a kind of note taking process. We want to take the note in one table append it, using an automation, to a notes history in another table. But if we trigger on record update and note is note empty, the note will be appended each time the record changes. Even if the note itself was not changed, but any other field.
