Assignee right for checklist items

Can we extend the 'Assignee' user role rights for checklist items?
Currently, if Team Member 1 is assigned to a checklist task within a record that is assigned to Team Member 2, Team Member 1 cannot see that record within the table and cannot filter out records using regular filters. Given that Team Member 1 has "Assignee" rights.

Hiya Nikolas Straka, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific functionalities or access should Team Member 1 have when assigned to a checklist item?
- Are there any specific scenarios or use cases where the current limitations have impacted your workflow?
- Would you like Team Member 1 to have the ability to filter and view records independently of their assignment status?

Hi Jon Darbyshire,
1 - For now, it would just be helpful if team member 1 could see the record associated with the specific task in the associated checklist field. In terms of permissions on that particular record, I can imagine that the user would be able to see the contents of the record, but only be able to mark the task they are assigned to as completed.
2 - Yes, users have tasks assigned to them in the checklist field, but we need to give them full permissions, not just assignee permissions, for them to be able to see these tasks and mark them as 'done'.
3 - I am not sure I understand your question. With Assignee permissions, users should be able to see the records they are assigned to. Whether this is through the 'assigned to' field type or through the task in the 'checklist'.
In order to filter through the tasks in the 'Checklist' field type, we have created several additional fields of the Function type, which give us information about the currently assigned users in the checklist, or if there are any open tasks.
