Allocate Sub Items (Sub Tasks)

Apologies if this exists somewhere (but I haven't found it).
It would be great if one could allocate Sub-Items (Sub Tasks) to a person so these show up in "My Work". Unless I am mistaken, this seems to be missing from the field options for a Sub-Item. Otherwise some of these Sub-Items are likely to be "lost" in the mix.

I am not totally sure, but I thought I saw a video post of Jon Darbyshire saying that eventually sub tasks will essentially become the same as a "task" with most if not all the abilities/features of tasks. This would be great and probably allows for the correct/best way to nest sub tasks under tasks, and sub tasks under sub tasks etc.
Looking forward to this feature if they can make it work.

Agreed. Sub-Items will often be assigned to different team members.
