Add data labels to Stacked Column Chart

I am building a Stacked Column Chart in my dashboard view, but my data labels are not showing in the chart. It would be very helpful if data labels could be added to the chart to make the data more comprehensible.

Can you provide more details on how you would like the data labels to be displayed on the Stacked Column Chart?
Are there specific data points you want to highlight with these labels?
Would you like the option to customize these data labels?

Jon Darbyshire thanks for getting back, be good to have data labels format feature/options like excel - in terms of choosing  position of data labels- to show the data labels at Top, Centre or bottom.
For stacked Columns - it can have option to show count/sum of each sub-part of the column and also TOTALS of all the aggregated sub-parts - showing at TOP of the Stacked Column
FOr BAR Chart have option to SHOW TOTAL at top of Bar Chart
