Problem:
The date a task is completed is available when you hover over a completed Due Date, but is not accessible in a formula, which makes it much more difficult to use this information in dashboards and for sorting and filtering.
Solution:
Currently the Start Date and the End Date are accessible in a formula field. Adding the Completed date to these would be amazing.

Jon Darbyshire I actually just ran into this problem because I was trying to create a formula that changed my Status to complete when the Date Completed field was not empty and then wanted to trigger a Repeat Task Due Date and Start Date based on the Date Complete.
This is important to me because I don't always change my Status to Complete on the date it was actually completed - and need to have my repeating tasks based on the date the task was completed - not the date the Status was moved to Complete. It is also important to me to know when I completed a task for documentation.

- Sorting by the date a task was completed and grouping columns y it is useful when examining completed tasks.
- Just the regular manipulations that can be performed with date type fields
- Adding it to the due date field type like From and To could be useful

Karina Schafer I think you probably need to add a new Date field for storing your completed dates. You could add an automation that moves the task to Completed when you enter a value in the Completed Date field. This request is intended to mean making the date that the Status was changed to Completed available, which doesn't seem to be the date you are interested in.
