Any updates on this one?

This capability is being added as part of the new Button Field Type that we are implementing now. This will allow you to add a button to create record that when clicked will take the user to the correct form to complete.

This capability will also be available in our Shared Grid View.

Here is an example use case shared by a customer that will help you understand the value of this feature. The customer organizes running cycling events across the country and they use a shared gridview to share a listing of all available (upcoming) events that people can register for. The shared grid contains about 15 open events on average and each event includes links for event details and various form registrations.
