format formula fields like in airtable: Format and decimal precision: See image

In my use case, I would like to utilize the sub-item field as an invoice table, but I can't gather accurate totals since I don't have the ability to add a formula field to sub-items.

Functions library needs a lot of love, but this I think should be top priority: a way to insert a line break in the text result of a formula. Can be done in many ways, e.g. a LINEBREAK() function could work. FileMaker defines the pilcrow ("¶") as a literal with this value, but most people don't know how to type a pilcrow. Airtable uses "\n" and this is widely used elsewhere (e.g. in regular expressions). Given number of people coming to SmartSuite from Airtable, perhaps that's the best approach.

Many SmartSuite users are not from the US, but the DATE_FORMAT() formula only allows dates to be formatted in the MM/DD/YY format, instead of in DD/MM/YY.

Go beyond currency and decimal formatting for formula values and render the value as different SmartSuite field types. Examples: * Rollup of project completion as a percentage complete field * Customer tier based on lifetime customer value as a single select * Customer active/inactive status based on invoicing or account history as a yes/no toggle. These fields would be read-only as the data would be governed by the output of the formula. As a partner and constant tinkerer, there are lots of ways to over-engineer the system with combinations of formulas and automations, but this would help keep the interface simple + aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Enable setting the Manager and Department in the members directory. Then, establish roll-up/formula/link functionalities for these fields. I have a workplan with tasks assigned to individuals and would like to create views based on the assigned department and manager. This will facilitate using group-by filters and sorting by these fields. The desired outcome is to have a more organized and insightful representation of the workplan, where I can quickly identify tasks assigned to specific departments or managers, facilitating better project management and resource allocation.

One more question. Is there a way in SS to calculate the distance between an address that a client provides (comes in from FillOut Form) and our office address? I would like to use that number to calculate a delivery fee.

If it will be possible to make a more complex script in a formula it may help

Emma, I see you have a smart text field that can be inserted and then you can use AI. I have 5 fields that are all fun facts we like to ask about our staff. We then take those and make a 2-3 sentence bio on our site about them. Is it possible to have Smart Text use AI for each entry and have those 2-3 sentences built for us?
