Feature Requests

It is not helpful at all to see hundrets of records with comments counters of comments that I have written myself. I would like to see the counts of unread messages.

Hi The dashboard is already not bad, but it lacks functionality. In my mind, I find the AirTable one well thought out with the notion of tables, buttons, record search, form opening and everything else. I think it would be a huge development for SmartSuite to take inspiration from this. Regards

Avoid Displaying the Swim-lanes when it has 0 records. For example, we have 67 Assignees and only 2 have tasks. We need to scroll for 65 swim-lanes to reach and find the records we need.

Section headings take up a lot of screen real estate due to large font size, I'd love the ability to set them them smaller (or even just adjust down the default size)

Ability to switch between dark and light mode is getting more common. It would be great to have that switch in SmartSuite so that people can comfortably work with the product in the nighttime without straining their eyes. Linking the theme to system preferences or even time of the day would be even better.

Currently, if you have many records in the "Link Records" field, you must click the "Show all" toggle to view all linked records AND ONLY AFTER you click the "+" button in the bottom left corner to link another record. Please add the ability to link records without needing to display all records first, preferably in the top left corner of the field.

Reduce the clicking around in general. When adding a task or subtask I can tab to the date and assign to options but can't make selections unless I click and select. Typing a name, arrowing down etc would increase efficiency and experience. More keyboard shortcuts and keyboard navigation throughout

Please change the area on the homepage that says My Workspace to be the "name of our organization or company workspace." The users I added both thought that the homepage was specific to their needs and not for the whole company. Then they deleted a bunch of solutions I had started and worked hard on. (they could have clicked the drop-down to see members etc, but I'm sure this is a common misconception for new users.

It would be nice to have a button in the record view heading that would override all visibility conditions and would be available only to solution managers. I currently use an "Admin" selection buried in a single select field, but that is not as secure as I would like it to be.
