The only "Display Format" for the "Date" field that displays the year is the "Compact" format. Why do the longer formats not include the year? Please make it so the Standard & Long Display Formats include the Year as well.

The line for “today”on the timeline view is in the center and that not useful. It should be offset to The left so future dates are clearly visible (or let the user scroll smoothly). Currently half the visibility are past dates and often that’s not useful. We can’t scroll smoothly either. Please let us move the today line to wherever we want.

I love to use the home screen for announcements for my team. Currently, it is announcements for SmartSuite but if I’m paying customer, I would like to be able to put my own announcements. I think this would help disseminate information across team much easier.

Ability to switch between dark and light mode is getting more common. It would be great to have that switch in SmartSuite so that people can comfortably work with the product in the nighttime without straining their eyes. Linking the theme to system preferences or even time of the day would be even better.

I need a smart way to auto-number records for contracts and contract items. Each contract has one or more contract items, and these items should be numbered by contract, starting from 1. When I add an item, the item number should be auto-filled with the next number, similar to sub-items but without the limitations of the sub-item field type.

Please offer the ability to have either a series of predefined color pallets like pastels, monochromatic, subdued, natural, etc., or even allow for an ability to define a custom color palette so one could make your own palette with our brand colors. The "jelly bean" color scheme that is used now starts to be a bit much to look at after awhile.

Allow 'check'able items (lists, subitems etc) to be ticked off at View level, without having to open a dialogue window to do so (high latency). Checklist item highlighting already happens on 'Smartdoc' field checklists when you mouse over, suggesting the UI would be capable of triggering this. Separate related issue: Checklists and Sub-Items do not provide an explicit display option at View level, like Smartdocs do. Smartdoc checklists are a workaround for now; but ideally all would have such a display option (rather than just summaries). This has been raised and upvoted already. Pending.
