currently i can only pull the full name to be used in email automation but that looks very cumbersome and not so personal in the emails . id like the option to pull just the first name out of the full name field

We have progress with using the Name field in automations, but I notice that when composing an email in the record communication panel, you can't select which parts of the Full name to use. For example, when addressing the recipient, you can only select the entire field to enter rather than having a "+" to select "first" or "last." Can we update this please?

Yes, until this is solved, the Full Name field is not reliable on long term

Or any field, for that matter. For example, I might have a Salutation field that has different data than the First Name field (e.g. Charles | Smith | Chuck).
