It would be great if you add headers and footers with the possibility to add alsa images. Also you could add a table feature to contain fields and elements

Hi,
Headers and footers would allow the fields not to overlap with the header in case they go to the second page. The header and footer, in addition to containing text elements that can be inserted manually (such as a reference to the document revision, or the document name) should also have the possibility of inserting an image of the company logo for example.
The addition of a table containing static and record elements would allow rows and columns to be automatically aligned and borders to be created more easily. For example, I now use lines and rectangles to give the effect of a table, but these do not adapt dynamically to the content (e.g. if you have a field with a paragraph of variable length).
In the document I was making I wanted to insert some descriptive text and then a series of images (which can be 1 or more), savedin the records; I used the anchor function, but if there are too many images I go to the second page, overlapping with the image I put as the header of the document, and anyway I cannot create the table effect with lines and rectangles.
Last thing: if I create the PDF it does not retain the formatting of the text (e.g. bold).

Hey Patrizia Buosi, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on how you envision the headers and footers functioning?
- What specific functionality would you like to see in the table feature?
- Are there any specific types of images or elements you would like to be able to add to the headers, footers, and tables?

Document Generator with the following features:
- Header and footer
- Page numbering
- Manual Page breaks

Peter G.
Don't forget:
Page header & page footer
Group header & group footer
Detail header and detail footer
Sub-reports (i.e. linked table data)
Page numbering
Total number of pages in a report
Columns
Current date & time variables
etc. etc.
IOW's all standard stuff found in a decent report writer/builder

Great to hear your perspective, k t! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the specific content you'd like to include in the header and footer?
- What kind of control would you like to have over page numbering? For example, starting from a specific number, different formats, etc.
- Could you elaborate on the scenarios where you would need to use manual page breaks?

- For header the Company logo, and footer for e-signature and disclaimers - these fields shouldn't be affected by the relative fields within the document.
To make this happen, one way is to separate header, body, and footer, which may or may not be used, depending on a users use case scenario.
- Page number may be automatic with the option where to place it.
- Manual page breaks are very useful when using Relative fields and images. One scenario would be an unpredictable height of relative fields which will automatically expand depending on its content. When we cannot control page break, the image would be cut in half during automatic page break. Hence, to avoid this we can manually add a page break after the relative field and place the image next to it, just to make sure the image will always be on the next page.

This would be a great addition to this app. When can you add this? Also, please add column justification to the line items (or sub-records). This way, the numbers columns can be right justified. Right now, the numbers are by default, left justified. Need right justified for invoices.
Please add block justification as well.
