This is fantastic news. Thank you for adding it! Just to clarify, do you mean implementing a kind of nested grid view of items and sub-items, a bit like Monday does? (See attached screenshot).

I'd prefer to be able to "choose action" so we can dictate whether the field is a modal pop-up or allow for in-line editing. I have some use cases where in-line editing makes far more sense than a modal, and others are vice versa.

Check in on this, not just sub-items popping out, but the ability to add an Assigned To column to a Sub-list. I thought I had heard this was coming but can't find it.

Jon Darbyshire: I'd love an update on this too. Showing a count of sub-tasks in grid view is nice, but an additional "level" showing title and other fields would be very helpful.
